Sweetwaters Community

Zanele, our ‘Community Mother’ continues to support 22 girls & 11 boys in housing at her home in Sweetwaters Community.

Seth is staying with her. You may remember him: the little boy with cerebral palsy, who was buried alive with his brother, by his mother when she was acutely mentally ill. He was rescued by Zanele when the community went to her to get help. He is doing well! Smiling, talking, walking and happy. We met him when we went to visit in January this year.

We have since funded refurbishment of the community center next to her home, to turn it into the new Govt approved Tabitha Orphanage, so that she will be giving a home and love to 40 boys and girls.
