I love HAIR4LOVE, it brings together so many people, connects so many , and of course raises an amazing amount of money ! 12 years ago , when we created HAIR4LOVE, it was going to be a one off, one day event..... when i think of the amount of people who have been touched by this event over the years, and the money raised, it certainly brings a smile to my face and a warmth to my heart. We’ve now had HAIR4LOVE in 6 salons, in 2 countries , involving over 100 people in various teams. The stylists and therapists love it, it is a unique day of giving of oneself and ones skills asking very little in return except for the knowledge that you’ve made a profound donation of love and an immediate impact in a child’s life in Africa . The feedback i get after this event, from clients and team members alike is so warming, each person is connected on an individual level to something very special for themselves and for each other. There is an African saying that it takes a village to raise a child...... I say we are a global village and that together we can all contribute to the raising of these children .
